Dr. LaMar Hasbrouck is a distinguished health leader and author committed to advancing population health and inspiring future generations of health professionals and STEM enthusiasts.
His mission is deeply shaped by his personal experience growing up in a community facing significant health challenges. Since 2016, he has served as managing director of DLM LLC, a boutique consulting firm.
His career spans local, state, national and global health leadership, combining frontline outbreak response with executive management, policy, education and public communication.

During more than a decade at the CDC, Dr. Hasbrouck contributed to two major global health efforts: the World Health Organization’s polio eradication program and the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.
He managed major outbreak responses including swine flu, monkeypox and Ebola, and later became a frequent media voice during the COVID-19 pandemic, sharing public-health expertise with outlets including CNN and USA Today.
